HAIL

I don't know if you remember the awful storm we had last week but I won't soon forget it. We decided to leave the house to drive somewhere more "safe" due to the fact that we have very large trees around and there was talk of a tornado. It wasn't the smartest move however. About the time we got out of the driveway an immense amount of hail began to fall. I just knew it was going to destroy our car but it came through without a scratch (or maybe I can't tell the new scratches from the ones that Rachael's dog put on it :) Anyway, lesson learned, next time we'll just get in the bathtub!! Noah did enjoyed the fruits of the storm . He was able to eat a lot of the hail before it melted.

P.S.- Check out Mike's blog. He actually has updated it!

BARE FEET

When Mike saw these pictures I just took of Noah he said "you need a doll." I replied, "or maybe a girl." :) But, Noah is such a great subject to photograph. He just puts up with me and actually seems to enjoy it. Every once in a while he looks up and says "cheese". We have WAY to much fun! Let me know what ya'll think.

A VERY HAPPY "MOTHER'S DAY WEEKEND"

I want to wish all the Mothers and Daughters out there a happy belated Mother's Day. I'll start off with a HUGE praise. Noah's MRI was normal!! Praise God and thank you for all your prayers. Hopefully the headaches will just go away and nothing else will come of them. I already think that they are happening a lot less. My wonderful husband took me off on Friday for an overnight stay at a B&B not too far away. It was wonderful and restful and just what I needed to recharge. Sunday morning was also such a blessing with Diane and Judy speaking for Mother's day. They both really challenged me to make the most of my prayer life and rely on God in the small things, not just the big things. It really is just an everyday reliance. I was so encouraged to hear some of the supernatural events that have happened in their lives that have made them into the Godly women that they are today. I have heard many others say how much they enjoyed the testimonies also so thank you ladies for being ready to give testimony to God's greatness. As if all that wasn't enough, on Sunday morning, Mike had Noah bring a beautifully wrapped present into the room where I was getting dressed and he handed it to me and said in toddleriese "thank you". It was a gorgeous silver bracelet with "my boys" engraved in it. It was all so sweet I just bawled. Thank you God for "my boys", my life, my church, my family and my faith.

STRAWBERRY PICKIN'

We took Noah Strawberry picking on Saturday and had a blast! We really didn't expect him to understand the concept of actually picking the berries but he loved that part. As you can see, he enjoyed eating a few along the way. We got enough to make 2 pies and strawberry shortcake which is Mike's favorite.
Please pray for Noah today (Thursday) as his MRI is today. He'll be put under "concious sedation" for about an hour. The hardest part is the not being able to eat at all today until it (we've snuck a few snacks in however). I'll let you know the results when we hear something.

MUD WRESTLING

The torrential downpour the other day didn't stop Noah and Mike from making the front yard into a giant slip and slide. Mike tried to teach Noah to run and slide in the mud and Noah just laughed at him like he was insane. They ended up playing Rugby instead. Needless to say, a good time was had by all!!
PS: This last picture is of me and my sweet new nephew Matthew. He looks like a little old man!! So sweet. Great job Bobbie.
